Food Access
We seek to support the consistent availability of nutritious, affordable food for all communities. By expanding product offerings in underserved markets, investing in food recovery and supporting innovative solutions through the UNFI Foundation we aim to increase access to healthy food.

We strive to uphold public health through rigorous safety standards and empower informed choices through transparent product labeling. Through SQF certification, comprehensive trainings, and affordable healthy food options, we work to build consumer trust and protect communities.

Community Livelihood
We strive to champion economic opportunity and help strengthen the communities we serve by supporting small, local food businesses and growers, activating our networks when disaster strikes, and funding nonprofit organizations.
Our Goals
Donate 250 million pounds of food (equivalent to approximately 208 million meals) by 2030.
Achieve SQF certification at all eligible distribution centers by the end of FY2025.
