Our Climate Action Strategy
To address our impacts, UNFI has established three science-based emissions reduction targets – covering our fleet, facilities and value chain that have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative.
With nearly 90% of our value chain emissions coming from the products we purchase and distribute to retailers across North America, progress depends on collaboration with our suppliers to advance emissions reduction.
