UNFI Bulk Products & Hershey Import Company Unaffected by Pistachio Recall

Setton pistachio recall has minor impact on the natural products industry

Hershey Import Company, a division of UNFI, has confirmed that the company has not purchased any of the Pistachio Nuts affected by the March 31, 2009 Setton Pistachio recall. As a result, products packed by Hershey Import Company, including Woodstock Farms brand, are not affected. 

In addition, UNFI has not purchased any of the Pistachio Nuts affected by the March 31, 2009 recall. Therefore, Bulk Pistachio Nuts from both UNFI and Hershey Import Company are not affected.

Finally, as of April 13, 2009, UNFI has received notice of only 1 recalled item among the products we distribute (Sahale Snacks Ksar Blend, more information). UNFI customers who have purchased this product will be contacted.  If more recall notices are received, we will update this message accordingly.
