UNFI Volunteer Day
On September 24, 2010, 159 UNFI associates from 18 facilities across the country participated in the first Volunteer Day in support of the International Coastal Cleanup Project. Volunteer teams spent the day cleaning up local watershed areas and volunteered a total of 705 hours. Some totals of junk pulled out of waterways:
