The Organic Meat College covers topics such as: Organic vs. Natural Meats, Grass-fed Beef, The Environmental Impact of Raising Beef. This online course explains all aspects of the rules, regulations and knowledge base involved in retailing organic and natural meats.
Albert's Organics began its College series with the Organic Produce College, which was founded on over 25 years of successful retail organic produce experience. The program focuses on the unique needs of organic produce operations and merchandising. The Organic Produce College was created as an educational outreach service to the natural foods store community, as well as to mass market customers.
The second in the series, the Organic College, covers topics pertaining to organic foods and their production. Organic College provides extensive information on the organic industry including farming, food handling, manufacturing, as well as the art of retailing.
Each College focuses at length on education, strategies and tools that merchandisers, buyers and managers from retail and food service operations will find invaluable. They are made up of 15 to 20 free, online courses.
