Michael Funk Receives the Triple Bottom Line Award

Each year at the natural product industry’s Leadership Gathering, the Triple Bottom Line award is presented to honor an industry leader who exemplifies the principles of the triple bottom line, measuring organizational success in terms of economic, environmental, and social sustainability.

At the November 2007 meeting, UNFI’s CEO Michael Funk received this coveted award. It is an honor for all of us at UNFI that our CEO would be recognized in this manner, reflecting the overall commitment to People, Planet and Profit we share in our organization.
