Medical: UNFI offers three outstanding PPO medical plans that allow employees to customize coverage to their individual, and eligible dependent’s, specific needs. All three plans are covered through Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and their respective networks, at reasonable employee rates.

Dental: UNFI offers two comprehensive PPO dental plans, allowing the employee, and their eligible dependents, to choose coverage based on their personal dental needs. Both plans are through Delta Dental and are offered at reasonable employee rates

Life Insurance: Basic employee life insurance is offered and completely covered by UNFI. Depending on the individual needs of the employee, additional life insurance coverage, as well as eligible dependent coverage is optionally available. Life insurance for UNFI employees is provided through The Hartford.

401 (k) Plan: The UNFI 401(k) retirement savings plan is offered to employees through Fidelity Investments. This convenient “before tax” savings plan is accompanied by a generous company match.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): UNFI offers, at no cost to the employee, a profit sharing, stock ownership program. This program essentially vests employees as owners in the company, by rewarding them stock for continuously helping UNFI meet its goals.
